Water Piping

Installation of water piping by trenching has always been prohibitively expensive. This is due to a couple of factors. Underground water pipes have always needed to be buried below the frost line or 42” in our area to avoid damage from freezing. This meant digging a trench almost 4’ deep for the installation of a rather small pipe. Removing that amount of dirt and then backfilling after the work was complete meant expending an enormous amount of labor.

By directionally boring and drilling these water pipes we can save on almost all of that lost labor. Many towns require your water service lines to be a minimum of 5’ deep which is easily achieved using horizontal boring. Whether you are replacing an aged lead water service, upgrading the size of your service, or putting in an extra faucet way off in your yard look at this option to save you money and landscape repair.
